When it comes to church planting, one of the most overlooked and under-embraced tools in the church planting toolbox is fundraising. In just about every plant we see, there is some level of support above and beyond the denominational and associational assistance. In many cases our Lead Pastors are supported by their own sending church AND a number of other local churches that are seeking to invest in church planting as a missions strategy.
The church plant, and the church planting team will need additional support. You can count on it. Then multiply by two.
