Update from the Howell’s

Please be praying for these recent opportunities I have had to share the gospel.

Day-to-Day

Prayer Request # 11

Here are a few recent doors The Lord has opened for me to share the gospel:
1. Peter – This past weekend I met Peter at the beach. We had a wonderful conversation and I was able to share a lot of my testimony. I also told him about my hopes to start a church here in Chicago. He said he has friends from The Summit Church in North Carolina who just moved to Baltimore to plant a church and that he was very impressed with their faith. At the end of conversations he said he wanted to meet up with me again. So please pray for more opportunities for me to connect with Peter and share the gospel with him.
2. Kyle & His Roommates – I have shared the gospel with Kyle a couple of times already and after the most recent opportunity he said he wanted me to share some of these things with his roommates. Yesterday I followed up with him about talking to his roommates and now I am planning on sharing the gospel at his apartment next Monday evening. Please be praying for this great opportunity for me to share the gospel.
3. Adrian – One of the coaches I work with had a strange religious book with him when we were coaching. He had read over 200 pages of it and he said that some lady just gave it to him on the street. He told me that he is reading this book because a few weeks ago his house burned down and he almost died. Then a few days later one of his close friends was killed. As you might expect, Adrian has been thinking a lot about life, death, heaven, and hell. I asked him if he wanted to study the bible with me and he said he would really like to do that. Please pray for Adrian to find the truth he is looking for and that God would use me to lead him to Christ.
Thanks for praying!
Phill
